Day 1 – Lahore to Multan
We begin our journey with a drive from Lahore to Multan, a city known for its spiritual history and vibrant culture. Our sightseeing includes the Hazrat Shah Rukne Alam Shrine and the Mausoleum of Hazrat Bahauddin Zakariya, both important Sufi landmarks. We visit the beautiful Eid Gah Mosque and the Hussain Agahi Mosque, each a fine example of local architecture. At the Gurdezei Compound, we learn more about Multan’s past. Overnight Multan
Day 2 – Multan to Bahawalpur via Uch Sharif
Leaving Multan, we stop at Uch Sharif, a historic town filled with old tombs and ruins, telling stories of Sufi saints and ancient times. We then continue to Bahawalpur, where the highlight is the Noor Mahal, a stunning palace with elegant designs and royal charm. Overnight Bahawalpur.
Day 3 – Bahawalpur, Derawar Fort, and Sadiq Ghar Palace
We travel to the desert to see the impressive Derawar Fort, built in the 9th century. Near it is the Abbasi Royal Graveyard, final resting place of Bahawalpur’s rulers, decorated with blue tiles, marble, and brickwork. After lunch, we explore Sadiq Ghar Palace, once home to the royal family, known for its luxurious interiors. Overnight Bahawalpur.
Day 4 – Bahawalpur to Lahore
We stroll through Bahawalpur’s old city, visit the Farid Gate, and see the Al Sadiq Mosque. At the city library, we catch a glimpse of its literary heritage. In the afternoon, we return to Lahore, ending our journey with memories of culture, history, and warm hospitality.
Day 1 – Lahore to Islamabad via Rohtas Fort
We travel along the Grand Trunk Road, stopping at Rohtas Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built in the 16th century, the fort impresses with its strong walls, huge gates, and beautiful details. We explore its courtyards and learn about its role in defending the region. Overnight Islamabad.
Day 2 – Taxila and Islamabad City Tour
We head to Taxila, one of the world’s most important archaeological sites. The ancient Buddhist monasteries, stupas, and artifacts give us a glimpse into life more than 2,000 years ago. Returning to Islamabad, we visit the Faisal Mosque, the Lok Virsa Museum, Saidpur Village, and the Pakistan Monument. Each place offers a different piece of the country’s culture and history. Day 3 – Peshawar Sightseeing
We take a scenic drive to Peshawar, starting at the Peshawar Museum, home to an incredible Gandhara art collection. We then visit the Mahabat Khan Mosque, with its grand design and detailed decoration. Walking through Qissa Khawani Bazaar, we experience the lively atmosphere and imagine the traders and storytellers of the past. Overnight Islamabad.
Day 4 – Return to Lahore via Kallar Kahar and Ketas Temples
On our way back to Lahore, we stop at Kallar Kahar Lake, a peaceful spot with beautiful views. Our last visit is to the Ketas Temples, a sacred Hindu site with centuries-old stone carvings and a rich history. We arrive in Lahore in the evening, completing our tour with lasting memories of Pakistan’s diverse heritage.
